§ 7 Social Media

(1) We currently use the following social media plugins:
Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Xing, LinkedIn.

We utilize the so-called “two-click solution”. This means that initially, when you visit our site, no personal data will be passed on to plug-in providers. You can identify the plug-in provider by the tag on the box above the first letter or the logo. We make it possible for you to communicate directly with the plug-in provider through this button. The plug-in provider receives information that you opened the respective website of our online offer only if you click on the marked field and thus activate it. Furthermore the data mentioned in § 3 of this declaration will be passed on. With Facebook or Xing, the IP address will be anonymized immediately after collection according to the declaration of the respective provider in Germany. When activating a plug-in, your personal data will be passed on to the respective plug-in provider and will be saved there (by US American providers in the USA). Since plug-in providers collect data in particular via cookies, we recommend deleting all cookies in your browser under the security settings before clicking on the grayed out box.

You have the right to object to the generation of these user profiles, but you must contact the respective plug-in providers to exercise this right. We offer you the possibility to interact with social networks and other users with plug-ins so we can improve our services and develop these to be more interesting to you, the user. The legal basis for the use of plug-ins is Art. 6, para. 1, first sentence, lit. f GDPR.

(4) Data transfer takes place regardless of whether you have an account with the plug-in provider and are logged in or not. If you are logged in with a plug-in provider, the data that we collect will be directly allocated to your existing account with the plug-in provider. If you activate the button and, for example, link the page, the plug-in provider will also save this information to your user account and publically communicate the page to your contacts.
